Ahuva Orlofsky is the Chair of the Board of imadi, where she has been instrumental in expanding the organization’s support to over 120 families dealing with chronic illness and medical conditions in Maryland and Washington, DC. With a background in education and marketing, she previously served as the Director of Marketing at Sulam, enhancing the organization’s brand and outreach. Ahuva lives in Silver Spring with her husband and three children, and is known for her compassion, resilience, and dedication to her community.

Emily Briton is the president of MedStar Montgomery Medical Center and senior vice president of MedStar Health, with over a decade of experience in healthcare administration, systemwide service line integration, and hospital operations. Before her current role, she served as senior vice president of operations and chief operating officer at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, leading key initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic. Emily has been recognized as a leader in her field, earning accolades such as the Washington Business Journal’s 40 under 40. Emily lives with her husband and two daughters in Kensington, MD.

Miriam is the Vice President of Development at Borderline Media Company, a healthcare marketing agency. She often spends her free time watching old movies and baking for anyone who will excessively compliment her creations. Currently, she serves as the secretary of imadi’s Board of Directors and a member of the executive committee.

Cheri is a passionate community leader with strong involvement in Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School and The Associated Jewish Federation of Baltimore, where she has held key roles, including past Chair of the 4Front Teen Advisory Committee and Co-Chair of the Young Adult Task Force. Her unwavering dedication to enhancing the lives of others drives her commitment to engaging kids and young adults, supporting them physically, emotionally, and mentally, and connecting families and volunteers to benefit from the Imadi experience.

Chanan Weissman is the director of the SAPIR Institute at the Maimonides Fund. He previously served in the U.S. Department of State for 13 years, where he held a number of positions including most recently as the Section Chief of the Internet Freedom & Business and Human Rights unit. He is the only person to have served twice as the White House Liaison to the Jewish Community, which he did in the final year of the Obama Administration and the first year of the Biden Administration. He also served on the staff of the National Security Council as the Director for Democracy and Technology and then as the Director for Partnerships and Global Engagement.

Dr. Ari Elman is a medical oncologist in the Sandra & Malcolm Berman Cancer Institute at GBMC in Baltimore. Known for his stellar bedside manner and approvable disposition, Ari loves a good game of trivia and fine dining.

Eric Reitberger is the managing principal at Quest Management Group and lives in Baltimore. He describes himself as an avid golfer and consumer of a wide array of alcoholic beverages.

Gadi Rozmaryn serves as the Senior VP of Software Engineering at Salanter Akiba Riverdale High School. He lives in Silver Spring, is married to Jackie Rozmaryn, and is proud of his three children – two of which volunteer at imadi. 

Amos J. Hochstein is a top national and economic security official in the Biden-Harris administration. Currently he serves as the Deputy Assistant to the President and Senior Adviser for Energy and Investment under U.S. President Joe Biden. He is married to Julie Rae Ringel; they have four children together and live in Washington D.C.
