Executive Director, Founder

Tzvi is a recognized leader in the nonprofit landscape, known for his visionary leadership, creativity, and unwavering dedication to the children and families he serves. Early in his career, Tzvi served in a leadership role at a pediatric oncological summer camp, where he developed a deep commitment to supporting vulnerable communities. In 2016, he took a bold step to spearhead the launch of the Mid-Atlantic regional office of Chai Lifeline, serving as Regional Director for nearly five years and driving impactful community initiatives.

As the founder and driving force behind imadi, Tzvi channels his deep understanding of emerging communal needs into fostering systemic change for his clients. His leadership is guided by empathy and a commitment to transformative impact.

Tzvi is a Wexner Field Fellow and an alumnus of the inaugural cohort of the Rekindle Fellowship in Baltimore. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration with a specialization in Management and Leadership from the University of Baltimore. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Levindale, contributing his expertise and passion to enhance community well-being.

Service Coordinator

Avital Dresin holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a double major in Dance from the University of Maryland, College Park. During her time at Maryland, she directed and choreographed numerous dance works that explored the intersection of emotion, and movement using creative expression as a means of healing and communication. As imadi’s Service and Pods Coordinator, Avital brings creativity, empathy, and organization to her work, helping build strong, lasting connections between families and volunteers. A certified yoga instructor, she approaches her work with a philosophy rooted in mindfulness, compassion, and presence, believing that genuine connection grows from truly showing up for one another. Avital is passionate about creating spaces that feel supportive and grounded in care, where every family knows they are seen, valued, and never alone in their journey.

Case Manager
Washington D.C.

Erin Gris joins imadi after spending the past 25 years promoting the emotional and social developmental well-being of children and families within medical settings. As a seasoned Child Life Specialist, she most recently worked in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Children’s National Hospital. Erin holds a master’s degree in Child Development and is passionate about fostering resilience, connection, and healing for the families she serves. She resides in Washington, D.C., with her husband, three daughters, two cats, and their goldendoodle, Butters. When she is not working, Erin enjoys hiking in the great outdoors, drinking copious amounts of coffee and traveling to visit family in Israel.

Office Manager

Tzippy Hoch brings expertise in operations, project management, and Jewish community engagement to her role as Office Manager at imadi. With a BA in Business Administration, she combines strong organizational skills with a genuine passion for helping others. Prior to imadi, Tzippy oversaw regional operations for a Los Angeles–based medical services company and managed administrative projects for a private school on Long Island. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling the world with her family and sharing (or mildly annoying them with) obscure historical trivia along the way.

Case Manager
Baltimore

Shevy Klein brings heart, humor, and a strong foundation in social work to her role as Case Manager at imadi. An LMSW and graduate of the Wurzweiler School of Social Work, she combines clinical experience with a genuine passion for supporting families with care and empathy.

Before joining imadi, Shevy worked as a psychotherapist at The Naomi Center, where she developed her steady, compassionate approach to helping others navigate life’s challenges.

Outside of work, Shevy enjoys spending time with her husband and children, who keep life lively and full of surprises.

Director of Volunteer Experience

With a background in community building, informal Jewish education, and the performing arts, Gabby brings creativity, empathy, and a deep understanding of human connection to her role as Director of Volunteer Experience. She is committed to supporting volunteers in discovering their unique strengths and bringing their most creative ideas to life. Gabby believes that every imadi volunteer has the potential to become a leader in their future community and aims to equip them with the skills and confidence to get there. Having lived abroad in Israel and the Bahamas, she has developed a passion for bringing people together across differences. Gabby holds a B.A. in Religious Studies and Theater/Dance from Colby College. Originally from New England, she loves skiing with her husband, Aroni, and pretending she’s on an episode of Chopped every time she cooks a meal.

jordy snyder

Director of Program Engagement

Jordy comes to imadi from the Maternal and Child Health Bureau where she served as the Project Officer for the Pediatric Mental Health Access Program, working to build capacity of pediatricians to support children with mental health concerns, and to support professionals who work with women, children, and families.
Jordy’s passion is rooted in improving health equity and guaranteeing access to quality healthcare for all. Jordy taught in an elementary school science classroom at Milton Jewish Day School of the Nation’s Capital, and subsequently worked at the School-Based Health Alliance to promote and advance school-based health care. Jordy earned her Master of Public Health in Prevention and Community Health from
George Washington University, and is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). Jordy lives in DC with her husband Josh, and one year old daughter Maya. She loves silly games, comedy, exploring nature, and taking pictures of Maya.

Camper Support Specialist

Avigail Orlofsky serves as the Camper Support Specialist at Eagle Point, where she is dedicated to ensuring that every camper feels supported, understood, and empowered to thrive. She holds a Master’s degree in Special Education from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology and currently teaches 3rd and 4th grade special education at The Shefa School in Manhattan. A proud native of Silver Spring, Maryland, Avigail has spent many years volunteering with organizations that support children with complex medical needs, fostering her passion for inclusive education and individualized care. Her warmth, professionalism, and deep understanding of children’s diverse experiences make her an invaluable member of the Eagle Point team. Outside of work, Avigail enjoys spending time with friends at Broadway shows and exploring all that New York City has to offer. She brings her creativity, empathy, and enthusiasm for connection into every aspect of her work and life.

Head Counselor at Eagle Point

Tori Diamond serves as the Girls Head Counselor at Eagle Point, where she helps create a warm, inclusive, and supportive environment for campers and volunteers. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and is pursuing her Master’s in Social Work at the Wurzweiler School of Social Work. Tori also supervises a day habilitation program in New York City for young adult women with special needs, focusing on skill-building and independence.
Now entering her fourth summer at Eagle Point, Tori is known for her thoughtful leadership, creativity, and strong relationships with campers and staff. She brings authenticity, care, and a genuine commitment to community to everything she does.
Outside of camp, Tori enjoys traveling, shopping, and playing tennis, and she brings that same easygoing warmth and enthusiasm into her work at Eagle Point each summer.
 

Ahuva Orlofsky is the Chair of the Board of imadi, where she has been instrumental in expanding the organization’s support to over 120 families dealing with chronic illness and medical conditions in Maryland and Washington, DC. With a background in education and marketing, she previously served as the Director of Marketing at Sulam, enhancing the organization’s brand and outreach. Ahuva lives in Silver Spring with her husband and three children, and is known for her compassion, resilience, and dedication to her community.

Emily Briton is the president of MedStar Montgomery Medical Center and senior vice president of MedStar Health, with over a decade of experience in healthcare administration, systemwide service line integration, and hospital operations. Before her current role, she served as senior vice president of operations and chief operating officer at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, leading key initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic. Emily has been recognized as a leader in her field, earning accolades such as the Washington Business Journal’s 40 under 40. Emily lives with her husband and two daughters in Kensington, MD.

Miriam is the Vice President of Development at Borderline Media Company, a healthcare marketing agency. She often spends her free time watching old movies and baking for anyone who will excessively compliment her creations. Currently, she serves as the secretary of imadi’s Board of Directors and a member of the executive committee.

Cheri is a passionate community leader with strong involvement in Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School and The Associated Jewish Federation of Baltimore, where she has held key roles, including past Chair of the 4Front Teen Advisory Committee and Co-Chair of the Young Adult Task Force. Her unwavering dedication to enhancing the lives of others drives her commitment to engaging kids and young adults, supporting them physically, emotionally, and mentally, and connecting families and volunteers to benefit from the Imadi experience.

Chanan Weissman is the director of the SAPIR Institute at the Maimonides Fund. He previously served in the U.S. Department of State for 13 years, where he held a number of positions including most recently as the Section Chief of the Internet Freedom & Business and Human Rights unit. He is the only person to have served twice as the White House Liaison to the Jewish Community, which he did in the final year of the Obama Administration and the first year of the Biden Administration. He also served on the staff of the National Security Council as the Director for Democracy and Technology and then as the Director for Partnerships and Global Engagement.

Dr. Ari Elman is a medical oncologist in the Sandra & Malcolm Berman Cancer Institute at GBMC in Baltimore. Known for his stellar bedside manner and approvable disposition, Ari loves a good game of trivia and fine dining.

Eric Reitberger is the managing principal at Quest Management Group and lives in Baltimore. He describes himself as an avid golfer and consumer of a wide array of alcoholic beverages.

Gadi Rozmaryn serves as the Senior VP of Software Engineering at Salanter Akiba Riverdale High School. He lives in Silver Spring, is married to Jackie Rozmaryn, and is proud of his three children – two of which volunteer at imadi. 

Amos J. Hochstein is a top national and economic security official in the Biden-Harris administration. Currently he serves as the Deputy Assistant to the President and Senior Adviser for Energy and Investment under U.S. President Joe Biden. He is married to Julie Rae Ringel; they have four children together and live in Washington D.C.
